A shadow in the night

Overall, this is great. I like the smoky, mysterious night effect you give this piece of art. The emerald cast an eery glow, which is what you should go for in a piece like this.

The moon is subtle. It isn't the first thing you see, but it plays a big part in the piece, considering it is night time.

As for Shadow, his facial expression is amazing! His eyes are set on that emerald. You can almost tell what he is thinking. I noticed he's a little on the chubby side around his belly <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a…" width="19" height="19" alt="" title="Sweating a little..."/>, then he is skinny at the arms and legs. Perhaps work on the proportions better? Just a suggestion.
